Job Title: Building Control Surveyor x3 (Class 2 & Class 3)

Location: Leicester, Leicestershire, East Midlands

Duration: 6 Months Temporary, Start ASAP

Rate: Negotiable dependent on experience

We are currently seeking experienced and qualified Building Control Surveyors to join a Housing and Property team in Leicester. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects that directly impact public safety and building compliance.

Key Responsibilities of the Building Control Surveyor include:

You will be responsible for ensuring that building works comply with relevant legislation and safety standardsAssessing building plans for compliance with Building RegulationsConducting site inspections to monitor construction progress and standardsResponding to reports of dangerous structures and inspecting demolition sitesEnforcing compliance and recommending necessary changesAdvising on fire safety provisions and inspecting sports grounds and temporary structuresProviding guidance to professionals and the public on Building Control mattersLiaising with external agencies and internal departmentsMaintaining accurate inspection recordsEssential Skills & Qualifications of the Building Control candidate:
