For sale organically formed coffee table (model FD 503) by the Danish designer couple Tove and Edvard Kindt-Larsen in the 50's for legendary manufacturer, France & Son. Along with the Kindt-Larsen's, many of the premier Danish designers eventually designed pieces for France & Son as they are one of the most iconic Danish manufacturers. This table is part of a series of lounge tables that were constructed entirely from solid teak.
The table is made of teak and stands on tapered legs. The struts are getting smaller towards the centre while the table top has very stylish curved lip that runs down each side. The table is marked FF for France & Son as well as 'made in Denmark"'.
Size of the coffee table (approximately):
Width: 59 inch (150cm)
Depth: 21 inch (53cm)
Height: 18.5 inch (47cm)
This coffee table is in excellent vintage condition with some very light marks commensurate with age and use. It has been cleaned and waxed.
Please see pictures for a better idea of the condition. I have tried to show colours as accurately as possible but please remember colours do appear differently on some monitors.
