Description
How adorable is this cute little 🐸 table.
Cleaned and prepped and then painted in French Chic Blackjack. The top was then painted in a blended colour using the same black and several shades of green. After this a stencil was applied and hand-painted flower and leaf detail added to it, before a floral and frog transfer was applied.
Two shades of metallic green gilding wax were added to the edges of the table top, the front of the legs and the central column (which also has a small transfer applied). These were then sanded back in some areas to reveal the black underneath to give a slightly distressed aged look.
Two coats of satin varnish were then applied for durability.
Finally a 1cm layer of clear resin was added to the table top, giving it a lovely sheen and making it more functional for a variety of uses.
Oval shaped 45cm x 37cm , and 56cm tall.
Collection from Anstruther preferred but happy to discuss delivery for a fee.
