With its 3-layer Gore-Tex® fabric, the Quarrel Jacket Women's is perfectly prepared for all kinds of weather changes. With a lot of movement and activity the moisture is transported outwards away from the skin. The Gore® C-Knit® inner lining additionally supports the breathability. The bottom layer also convinces with a textile, soft handle and slides smoothly over insulating layers without creating friction. The breathability can be assisted by two under arm pit zips with water resistant zips. The Quarrel Jacket Women's is an ideal companion for all seasons and weather conditions.

Gore® C-Knit® Backer Technology
The Gore® C-Knit® Backer Technology combines the robustness of a 3-layer with a soft, textile touch - for a great wearing comfort. The soft, breathable and lightweight Gore® C-Knit® backer is the layer on the inside of the 3-layer membrane sandwich. The knit backing is smooth and silky slick. It slides easily over other layers. This lining is lighter, softer and even more breathable than comparable laminates but it is just as robust. Also it offers a great moisture management.
RET value
The RET value defines the resistance that a textile fabric opposes to moisture vapor. The lower the resistance the higher the breathability of the fabric. The RET value is evaluated in the following established classification:
RET value 0 - 6: very good moisture vapor transmission
RET value 6 - 13: good moisture vapor transmission
RET value 13 - 20: satisfactory moisture vapor transmission
RET value 20+: unsatisfactory moisture vapor transmission

THis cost me £180 (in the sale). I bought for my hiking partner, as it is very lightweight and top quality. Unfortunately an injury (tree fell on her car) prevented any further hiking adventures, ergo it remains in very good condition.
