Vintage Bb Clarinet Metal Ligature. New

Description

This black metal ligature is new just old stock.

As can be seen in the photos this ligature grips the reed at two points & not the majority of the length of the reed. This enables the reed to vibrate more freely providing a greater response. The two side adjuster screws very much resemble the design and smooth response as featured on the very popular modern and costly Vandoren M/O and Optimum ligatures.

Double brass coloured screw design ensures the ligature stays correctly positioned and will not slip.
The design allows you to handle comfortably and securely the whole assembly when you require to remove it when changing to typically an A clarinet in the orchestra.
Designed to fit onto most standard sized plastic or ebonite Clarinet mouthpieces.
Offers medium resistance with a clear sound.
A very well made and designed ligature that costs a fraction of the rival Vandoren equivalents.
