This lot will be auctioned via Iconic Auctioneers, The Classic Sale at Silverstone Festival 2025 on Sunday the 24th of August, The Wing, Silverstone Circuit, NN12 8TN. , Sister to Peugeot's iconic 106, the Saxo was renowned for its excellent handling and lively performance,The VTS 16V featured a 1.6-litre, multi-valve, 120bhp four-cylinder engine offering 0-60mph in 7.5 seconds and 127mph,First registered in June 2000, this example was supplied from BBC Wigan Pier to its owner, joining a small Collection where it remained until recently,Finished in Quartz Silver and benefiting from paint correction and ceramic coating, this well presented VTS sits on 5-spoke alloys,Unmolested grey patterned cloth interior featuring the original radio, sunroof and upgraded electric windows,Only 138 believed to remain on UK roads with very few in their original factory specification,Supplied with its original handbooks, stamped service book, service history, recent fresh timing belt and water pump, MOT until April 2026 and both sets of keys,Affordable, extremely cool and an absolute hoot to drive in period, the VTS was much in demand at the time and have since developed a bit of a cult following, making this original low-mileage example an excellent choice,
