Description
ANTIQUE WINDSOR COUNTRY CHAIR.
19th century ash/elm Country Chair with high splat-back with curved, shaped head-rail, solid moulded seat raised on turned/decorated legs conjoined by four turned decorated struts/stretchers and with shaped, roll-end arms on turned/decorated supports.
The wood surfaces have received sympathetic restorative cleaning, treatment etc. and are finished with clear beeswax to fully enhance the natural beauty of the grain and colour.
Generally sturdy and in relative good condition considering it's antiquity, with some age-related authentic signs of use, wear and tear, etc. (a little historic damage at foot of one which is commiserate with the lower price shown)
