Description
This is a gorgeous example of a peacock chair with its hour glass base and fan like back. Originating from the philippines and hugely popular in 1970’s and 1980’s as a throne like symbol of status. Natural Buri wicker with black beading. Used as a statement piece these chairs are widely used for weddings and grand occasions. Their striking appearance and flared back symbolize a peacocks tail feathers. This is a fabulous piece and in person is far more magnificent. Collection only from portishead
