Description
Reclaimed Oak Parquet flooring.
Taken from the floor of our house in Belfast. Each block is 230mm long x 52mm wide x 20mm depth. About 30m2 in total, enough to cover a large kitchen extension or whole downstairs of average house. It covered 3 rooms and the hallway in our house. If buying from a local reclamation specialist like Wilson's Yard, it can cost between £70-£120 per m2.
We kept this lovely flooring in our cloakroom as can be seen in the attached photos. Can be stained whatever cover you like or simply varnished.
The parquet floor specialist who we had out looking at the floor before we lifted it said it was is great condition as the original owners had carpeted over it. He also said it was thick, so had potential to be sanded and treated several times over its life cycle.
It has bitumen adhesive on the bottom of each block so will need cleaned before it can be used.
All 30 sq metres is boxed up and ready for collection today.
