Large Gabbeh Indo knotted wool rug from John Lewis traditional camel design yellow gold

This is a lovely Gabbeh Indo knotted rug from John Lewis, in very good used condition with some wear. Please read/see pics.

Really cosy and high quality rug measuring 244 cm x 152 cm. Features sweet design of people, camels, alpacas. Lovely warm yellow-gold tone. Bought from JL probably 15-20 years ago, has not been used in last several years. Has not had high traffic for most of its time as it was in my mum's house. Original price was £325, and today would cost a fair amount more.

In good clean condition but there are some areas that are more worn, mainly an area to the top right of the rug. Doesn't detract from overall loveliness! Tassels at two corners are unplaited or worn away (from hoovering I'm guessing). Could be mended.

NOTE: I set what I think are fair prices. I'm not selling for other people to then sell on at a higher price elsewhere. I'm hoping for our preloved or antique items, that have often been in the family for a long time, to find a good new home. I am a carer to an elderly parent and I am selling to make ends meet. If my item doesn't sell, I will reduce it in my own time. I also reserve the right to decide not to sell.
