Description
I am looking for a calm and quietly competent, female Carer or Nurse to assist the Live-Carer in supporting my mother with spinal injury. Every Saturday and Sunday, from 9am-8pm, please note this shift length is flexible.
It will involve assisting her with personal care, must be competent in bowel management and catheter care, as well as having a good understanding of administering medication. To ensure her bespoke care and support plan is delivered and maintained, responsibilities will include managing daily routines, bed transfers using a ceiling hoist or a manual hoist, showering, rehab exercises, meal preparation and general household duties.
Relevant complex spinal care experience is essential for this role. You will be working alongside a live-in carer who is present daily, you will need to be passionate about high-quality care and have respect for privacy, dignity and confidentiality. Favourable rates are offered subject to experience. Located in spacious, beautiful Surrey home, near to Woking. Onsite parking available.
