Description

I believe this is a 2003 model?
I bought it about 6 years ago to try out caravaning and to see if it was for us...... After 15-20 trips over the 6 or so years it would be fair to say that I think it is for us!
Im selling this as in need of some tlc, we plan to upgrade next year to something more modern.
The caravan has a number of sleeping options, we use the back area as a permanent bed, this does convert to a seating area with a table in the middle, the table top and leg is stored in the caravan cupboard, the front seating area converts to a King size bed.
First thing i did when i got the van was to rip out the dated carpets and replace with grey plank vinyl. On ripping out the carpet i discovered the wooden floor was wet and rotten in places directly in front of the caravan door, i dried the floor out and pulled out the rotten bits, coated a big area in wood hardener and then overlaid the area with a piece of aluminium chequer plate, there have been no issues since.
I then had the seats re-covered and curtains made to give it a more modern look.
With regards to the in need of TLC, there are a couple of blinds that need fixing, the telescopic pistons that hold up the sunroof were not functioning so I removed them and bought replacements but never got round to fixing them. Some of tje storage cupboards brackets are broken so the doors wont stay open when opened. The shower tray had a crack in it, i repaired this with some plastic cement that i sourced, it doesnt look particularly pretty but it does the job!
The electric water heater doesnt work (needs element) but as we always go on sites that have showers I didnt see the point of fixing this, ive never tried to heat the water on the gas system.
The water pump can be a bit tempermental, but if you jiggle the connection around it works fine.
The good points are that the fridge works on 240v plug in, ive never tried it on gas or 12v. The gas cooker works, the toilet works. The heater worked on electric last time I tried it (last autumn) it threw out a lot of heat. The electric inside the van from the hook up all work.
It has a leisure battery that charges and holds charge, generally I dont run anything on it as we always have electrical hook up.
It has a cd and radio fitted
I had the van serviced 3 years ago, the issue with the floor was mentioned as in the photo but it has not caused any problems and we returned from a 937 mile round trip a couple of days ago from Notts to Lancs to South Devon and back to Notts, it towed faultlessly. New tyres were put on it just after the service was done.
If you're after a perfect van with no issues then this isnt the one for you, it is totally functional as it is but with a little tlc could be made even better!
Its almost good to go on its next trip, water container and waste container included, electric hook up lead included, youll need a gas cylinder and maybe an awning as i need them for my next van.
Ive tried to be as honest as i can about the van but please come and view to satisfy yourself it is what you want.
I have advertised the van on ebay also with 5 days of the auction left
