Rapido Club 42T Poptop Caravan

Here is our Rapido Club 42T 4 berth pop top caravan, these are quite rare and ours is in good overall and original condition inside and out for its age. It comes with a fully fitted original Clairval awning specific to fit the pop design.

Lightweight and very easy to tow by most standard cars, it’s also compact width and low profile makes it possible to store in a garage if you have the space.

Key features:

- all running gear, lights and brakes in full working order and tows really nicely (barely know it’s attached most of the time)
- Mains hook up point and 12v leisure battery in excellent condition
- Bathroom with Thetford cassette toilet, sink and shower tray
- kitchenette with Electrolux 3-way fridge, gas hob with grill, sink
- Carver cascade electric water heater (not tested on gas but we were told it would require a new burner)
- includes calor gas bottle, fresh water barrel and waste bottle
- generous sized front storage locker for gas bottles etc also houses the included spare wheel
- loads of locker cupboards and under seat storage as well as a clothes hanging wardrobe
- large front dining space makes an excellent sized double.
- Smaller side seating area will seat 4 and makes a smaller (slightly shorter) bed, has rollout supports to expand the width to sleep 2, great for kids or adults under 6ft
- updated LED lighting that uses hardly any battery when off grid.


Only other things to note:

- both tyres despite good tread are out of date (something I’d not considered when buying). I’m happy to get those replaced prior to collection for you. Or can lower the price a little if you’d like to take it home and do that at your leisure.

- fridge works perfectly on gas or mains electric and 12v from the car during towing, however, the tiny green indicator light doesn’t illuminate (never has in the 4 years we’ve had the van), I’m sure it could be replaced but has no real purpose.

- people are always intrigued by these on sites as they are rarer in the uk, so you might find you get some fan clubs forming to want to have a chat and a peek inside! :)

Otherwise, this is ready to go and to start enjoying many holidays as we have over the years!
