For sale is a 6-berth family caravan, the Lunar Quasar 616, which can easily accommodate 7 people. This was tested when we had our kids' friends over.

We are a family of 2 adults + 3 kids. However, we are sure it’s big enough for a larger family with 4 or 5 kids. Inside, you’ll find 4 single beds and 1 large double bed, suitable for 2 adults, or parents with a baby/young child to sleep comfortably. It's massive when you build it up !

It has been well-loved and well-maintained, with annual servicing and any necessary repairs, including four Toyo tyres, hitch pads, and hitch shock absorber servicing, so it tows like a dream !

We have enjoyed many happy years of caravanning in it.

The only reason for the sale is that we have transitioned to a campervan.

From the beginning:

- 2 axles with motor mover on all 4 wheels, and heavy-duty wheel lock (Al-Ko). Spare wheel included (still brand new).
- 2 x leisure batteries (130ah each).
- 4 x solar panels (560w total).
- MPPT solar charger controller with remote.

- Built-in clean water tank with high-pressure pump, this means no more problems with water pressure when you’re taking a shower, 120L tank lasts for a good few days before needing a refill. You can fill it up from outside with a hose, or connect a standard water pump with a water hog (2 hogs included).

- Build in a grey water tank under the van (100L), plus a standard waste hog if you prefer to use that.

- Outside shower with water mixer, a perfect solution after coming back from a sandy beach to wash your legs, or for muddy boots in winter.

- Outside gas connector with 3m hose plus Weber barbecue (this includes the van). You can use it in the awning during bad weather, or next to the van when it’s sunny. However, if you're not in the mood for barbecue, you can use the gas cooker, oven, or grill, which are located inside the van.

- 2 x gas bottles (one empty, the other I think is full).

- 2 caravan air awnings:
* Sanna 240 is 3/4 size of the van
* Dash 260 lightweight, inflatable caravan porch awning

- 2 x air pumps (one manual, one electric) so you don’t need to buy anything extra.

- New control panel above the door (see pics).

- New 3-way Thetford fridge, we upgraded it 2 years ago after the old one gave up on the NC500. This may still be under warranty (to be confirmed on the sale day).

- The new kitchen flexible tap again helps a lot with easy washing up inside the van.

- 240V (3500w) inverter is enough to charge drones, laptops, or run a hairdryer (tested so many times)

- 2-way heater with blowing system around the van (gas for wild or electric when hooked up on pitch).

- 2 extra tables, allowing you to create two separate rooms or one large one for the whole family if needed.

Door between kids’ and adults’ bedrooms, so you can enjoy evenings with your other half.

- All new generation LED lights, including:

* LED light behind the bed (cool white)
* LED strip light in kitchen (cool white)
* 2 x LED lights (warm white / blue night light)
* LED lights in toilet (1 warm, 2 cool/blue)
* LED strip behind shelf
* Bunk bed lights (cool white or red)
* 2 x outside LED lights with dimmer
* 4 x reading lights with dimmer + USB ports
* Extra floor dot lights for romantic nights

This van has been with us for many years, and we’ve enjoyed every minute inside.

Please note: this isn’t a brand-new caravan, but you can save a lot of money on holidays! For example, in Scotland or abroad, you can park wild for free or use inexpensive grass pitches (£10-£15 per night). This is very important for a big family like ours.

After purchase, I’m sure you can use it on the way home if you wish. We can also organise delivery anywhere in the UK. Don’t worry—good quality side mirrors are also included for your towing vehicle.
