CLASSIC CAR RADIO SLIDE OUT MOUNT CASE
This unit allows you to mount a radio into the case mounted to your dash and then allows removal of the radio by sliding the complete unit out.
The connections are made to the back of the unit and then the radio connections made to the slide out part Then when re-inserted the connections are automatically made as was similar to the old snatch plate back in the good old C.B. Radio days..
These are no longer available, though I have several units at present
Made by “Soundsystems” there were two Autosonic quick release cabinet models
A 7 connector type and a 13 connector this is a 13 connector type making it possible to connect all necessary wires even for a four speaker set up.
Suitable for vehicles with a DIN 75500 apertures
of 44 x 180 x 158 MM.
And a depth clearance of 175 MM.
Radio size 180 MM. Wide X 158 MM. Depth

Also Please note this unit will not take a modern push button radio this is for the older “Classic” radios with two knobs
