Description
This is a genuine spare part for a Volvo V50 estate. It fits in two places, that is with the rear seat back either up or down. The device clips to the back of the seat and the mesh is raised against a spring clipping into the two slots in the car. When the seat is up it forms a mesh wall between the boot and the passenger compartment. In this position it may be used as a dog net if the driver so wishes. Although Volvo do not describe the accessory as a dog net, possibly because it would be a brave man to say anything could keep a determined dog in place so I do not guarantee it either! Buyer beware. With the rear seat back down there is another set of latching holes in the car and the load net forms a barrier between the back and the driving compartment. We never used it because we didn’t have a dog.
