Description
Campal campervan conversion car boot unit, which transforms an MPV into a micro-camper for 2.
This is bespoke made for a Seat Alhambra / Ford Galaxy / VW Sharan sized car (with 3 rows of seats), but would fit other MPV type vehicles. The size of the unit when folded up is 105cm wide, 22cm high and 75cm deep. It comes with adjustable clamps to secure the unit into the car boot.
We had this bespoke made for a 2014 plate Seat Alhambra in 2019, but then subsequently used it in our 2010 Ford Galaxy (which had a slightly wider boot, but still fit well).
The unit slots into the boot of the car (with the third row of seats folded down), and can be set up as a couch in the boot during the day. It can then transform into a double bed with the middle seats folded down (190mm long x 110mm, with 5cm thick cushions included).
It comes with slide out drawers (minor rusting on the drawer runners, but does not compromise the function in any), which include storage, and provides a camping kitchen, with worksurfaces, and a single gas hob (included in the sale).
We have loved using this, and provides a great affordable set up to transform an MPV into a campervan for two. We are only selling as we are upgrading to a campervan.
Also happy to include a set of bespoke thermal blinds for a 2014 Alhambra (we also used them in the galaxy, even though the fit wasn't as good).
