rove! Mansfield are excited to offer for sale this outstanding VW Crafter racevan, this 2018 van is the 2litre TDI, Manual, Trendline variant in the xlwb size. There are 3 belted seats and room to sleep 2 adults and one child. Having covered only 78000 miles with good service history and recent cambelt change this van is ready to go. 3500kg GVW means anyone with a full UK driving licence can drive it.
The van itself was converted from new unlike a lot of racevans covering hundreds of thousands of miles, the build was initially done as more of a day van with no kitchen or washroom facilities for go Karting, and offers a huge rear garage with a roof mounted winch to lift the Karts in. More recently the van has been used for Motorcycle sport but with the size of this garage the possibilities are endless. The upholstery has been meticulously crafted throughout to give it a luxury feel with nice leather and Alcantara from the front seats and steering wheel right through to the bed area. The centre of the van has a two-seat bench which can be moved forwards or back and reclined to make a small bed, Over part of the garage is a large pull out double bed with roof lights and tasteful trim. Under the bench is a large pull-out draw and additional ample storage over the drivers cab. There is heating by the means of a diesel heater, a 230v boiler with external shower point, leisure battery with solar panel, inverter, lots of 230v sockets and 12v plus usb ports all around the van. External hook up point with 230v charger, lots of lighting throughout and natural lighting through the 2 skylights. The exterior of the van has tasteful modifications with a sun visor, stripes, wheel arch extenders and alloy wheels with correct camper spec all season tyres. For the motorsport people there is a huge GH (The Awning Company) canopy awning which are built to withstand the elements, there are no sides to this but they can be purchased through GH if required. Additional features include water tanks, towbar to list but a few.
