Description

1600 engine with 1800 gearbox, reconditioned unleaded engine 1992, engine runs well.
Resprayed Nevada Beige and Pastel white in 2000 from Brilliant Orange and Pastel White original colour when first registered and purchased from Colindale VW in March 1975.
Much loved family camper, owned since 1996, all original excellent condition interior including unmarked fabric and upholstery, original Danish cupboards and laminates, sink, storage, water tank, melamine interior, cool cupboard, roof bunks both sides, table with wooden screw legs, original over front seat child cabin bunk, original excellent condition 1970s fixtures and fittings, original glovebox lid intact, original wheel beauty rings, rear seat belts fitted, new concertina lifting roof.
Extensive photo record restoration in 2018, hardly used since. New front panel, doorsteps, rear quarter panels, outer sills, new poptop roof cover, new roof lining, new battery, 1000s spent. Clean, tidy, no pets, no smoking interior.
Lots of original extras to go with van, original 1970s KAMEI front spoiler, original 1970s VW wooden slat roofrack, towbar.
History file back to 1996 also with previous owner history early 1990s in Hampshire. All MOTs, service history, receipts for all parts, servicing and restoration.
Known to Mike Kombi Klassics and Ollie at Beetles Magic, Wareham and Moreton, Dorset. MOT and Tax exempt.
Needs some minor cosmetics to outer panels and a TLC family to be used again for family holidays and expeditions for what it was built for originally. Taken us to Holland, France and all over the UK. Family now grown out of camping.
Time to let her go and possibly win another trophy for best original camper. A real Tardis and time traveller back to a better time.
