Description
Talulah – Unique Vauxhall Vivaro Campervan – Full of Character, Cosy and Ready for Year-Round Adventure
£19,950
Year: 2016 | Mileage: 116,568 | Engine: 1598 cc | MOT: Until 27.03.2027 | Right-Hand Drive
There are campervans… and then there are vans that make people stop, smile and say, “Wow!” — and that’s Talulah.
She’s been my much-loved home on wheels for several years, carrying me on countless adventures across the UK, France, Spain and beyond. She’s been my escape, my cosy retreat after long days exploring, and the place where so many happy memories have been made.
When I converted and styled her, I didn’t want a generic campervan interior. I wanted to create a calm, bright and happy space that felt welcoming the moment I slid the door open. She has soft blush-pink shelving, vintage-style rattan mirrors, cushions and lots of little individual touches. She’s full of personality, surprisingly spacious and definitely not your standard campervan!
Wherever we travelled, she drew compliments. Campsite neighbours would stop to chat, people would ask to peek inside, and I’ve lost count of the number of people who have commented on how cosy and homely she feels.
Mechanically, she’s been incredibly reliable and has taken me thousands of miles around the UK and Europe without letting me down.
OVER £6,000 RECENTLY INVESTED
In the last couple of years, I’ve invested considerably in Talulah, including:
• New pop-top roof – approximately £5,000, professionally fitted
• High-quality diesel heater – approximately £1,000, professionally installed
• Fuel injectors replaced
• Brakes replaced
• New radiator
• Full annual servicing
The professionally installed diesel heater makes Talulah especially appealing for autumn and winter trips, keeping the interior warm and comfortable when the evenings are cold and the weather is less predictable. Combined with the pop-top, she’s a practical and cosy camper for year-round adventures, not just summer weekends.
KEY FEATURES & EQUIPMENT
✅ Power / Off-Grid: Solar charging system, one lithium leisure battery and inverter
✅ Kitchen: Dedicated space for a double camping stove, plus a rather special hand-crafted sink sourced from Morocco
✅ Heating: Professionally installed, high-quality diesel heater for comfortable camping through the colder months
✅ Seating: Swivelling double passenger seat, creating a sociable living area when parked up
✅ Sleeping: Main couch converts into a small double bed, with useful storage underneath. The pop-top also provides a comfortable double sleeping area
✅ Storage & Extras: Custom camper toilet storage box which doubles as additional seating
✅ Awning: Large wind-out Fiamma awning, giving plenty of extra outdoor living space and shade
WHY AM I SELLING HER?
Quite simply, I’ve bought a larger campervan for the next chapter of my travels.
Selling Talulah is genuinely bittersweet, but I can’t keep two vans! I’d much rather see her being used and enjoyed by someone else than sitting on my drive.
I’ve also reassessed the price and am now asking a realistic £19,950. Considering the recent investment of over £6,000 in the new pop-top and professionally installed diesel heating alone, together with the additional mechanical work carried out, I think this represents a fair price for a very individual and well-equipped camper.
She isn’t a mass-produced, standard conversion — and she won’t appeal to everyone. But if you’re looking for something with character, warmth and a little bit of individuality, Talulah might just be your van.
Whether you’re planning late-season escapes, winter walks or year-round travelling, she’s ready to keep you warm and comfortable while you explore.
Viewings are very welcome and sensible offers will be considered.
I may also consider an economical car in part exchange.
Please note: Mileage may increase slightly as the van is still being used occasionally.
Please message me if you’d like to come and meet Talulah.
