I reluctantly present my off-grid, full-time-living capable campervan — converted over the best part of two years to a high standard, and ready for living in full time before recent life changes.

Reason for sale: met my partner, welcomed our baby boy, and we’re now buying our first family home — need to free up the funds for deposit, kitchen, bathroom, and all the grown-up stuff that comes with it.

Built for living in, not just weekending in

Every decision in this build was made around actually living in the van full time, allowing me to carry out my hobbies of surfing & cycling wherever I go.
The bathroom is a full pvc tiled wet room with a proper shower and cassette toilet and also doubles as a dry room for wetsuits etc. The kitchen runs a full hob, oven, and fridge/freezer, countersunk stainless steel sink, real wood walnut worktops with fold out extender and generous cabinet space below.

The cab has two belted seats, 1x captain swivel and remis privacy blinds - straight behind we have the living, dining, workspace with pull out chais lounge, removable table and overhead dimmable mood lighting.

Through the walkable space with plenty of overhead room we have a slimline wardrobe and two pull out steps (with plenty of storage) that lead up to the double sprung pocket mattressed bedroom with Dometic seitz heki skylight great for stargazing / watching the sky from bed and two sliding windows at the head and tail of the bed. Two touch dimmable lights set the mood and a wall mounted tablet holder with charging points allow for cosy movie nights in bed.

Hot water was the one I felt strongest about. Rather than fit a standard campervan tank heater — which typically gives you 2-3 minutes of shower before you’re waiting to reheat — I fitted a Camplux on-demand heater, so hot water never runs out. No queuing for a shower, no waiting between washing up and showering. For full-time living, that mattered more to me than following the usual campervan spec.
