Description
My T4 based Topaz is now up for sale as we have bought a larger camper van
It's a year 2000, 2.4D 90K miles.
Overall excellent condition for a 25 year old vehicle, but of course bears a few minor marks and knocks from normal use, so don't expect a brand new vehicle!
Usual Topaz benefits of on board toilet and washroom.
Recent updates include;
Victron B2B charger, solar and mains charger, plus Fogstar Drift 105AH Lithium battery and Victron inverter.
Autoterm Planar Diesel heater with comfort controller
Propex electric water heater
New Heki mini roof light.
Wind deflectors on cab windows.
USB sockets in dashboard.
Refurbished and black powder coated original VW steel wheels with new all season tyres.
Black wrap to rear side windows with limo tint on rear 'bathroom' window
Engine guard fitted for accurate engine temperature monitoring.
Original leaky plastic tank taps replaced with full bore drain valves. (Common problem fixed :-)
Complete corrosion protection by Krown rustproofing.
Silver screens and tarp included at asking price.
Plus many other things I have probably forgotten !
I have owned this camper for over two years now and traveled extensively including trips to Greece, Italy, France, all-around the UK, and it hasn't missed a beat. Bear in mind, it has no Turbo or electronics, so it's no rocket ship, but will get you there with grace :-) A simple and bullet proof old school diesel engine.
I would love to keep it, but we need a larger van now I have retired and plan longer trips and sadly can't justify keeping both.
