I have received executive coaching with Sue for around 5 years now. At first we met regularly, once every couple of weeks to really chat through the challenges i was facing on a personal and professional level. Sue explored my value base, my belief system and how this frames everything in "my world". Following this fundamental foundational work, what i thought would be a short period of coaching during a turbulent period in my life turned into what i consider to be a life long mission to keep myself well, and my goals clear and life in balance. I now touch base with Sue as and when is needed. Sometimes when difficulties arise a few sessions in short succession but often just as a sounding board and safe space to get whats in my head out. Sue has supported me with knowing my worth and value as well as through reframing challenges into opportunities. Sue supported me to gain the confidence in leaving a very prestigious job in a Top 20 firm to understanding my values and passions and venturing into the world of self employment and freelancing. My work life balance is much better, i love what i do. Sue helped me realise that it wasnt what i do, it was how and where i was doing it that was affecting my wellbeing and mental health due to my values not being aligned. I have now learned personal development, therapy, coaching, whatever it is you are looking to improve in yourself/your life is a life long journey and nothing is "fixed". Sometimes we dont need to fix anything, but filter and process what we think needs fixing through a different lense. NLP has been a game changer for me.
