Description
We chose to be trained as approved installers of Millboard because we believe our customers consider these 5 things very important:
A deck which has no wood fibre in it so algae is much less likely to grow.
The highest slip resistance of softwood, hardwood, vinyl and the ever popular wood plastic composite (WPC).
Normal composite (WPC) goes mouldy. Millboard CANNOT go mouldy.
Lost head fixings are not slide-in plastic clips, they leave a minimal mark on the top of the board.
30-40 times less carbon footprint than normal composite.
We install UK manufactured Millboard over a Walther Strong (UK manufactured and from 100% recycled materials) deck taped sub-frame protecting the beams and joists. We consider the ventilation points and allow drainage through weed suppressing membrane and pea gravel all extending the life of your deck.
Deck boards are covered by Millboard's 25 year guarantee (if installed by an approved installer). The deck tape (NOT Butyl tape) offers a permanent adhesive bond for 50 years and is covered by Walther Strong's 25 year guarantee.
