There is only the one dust jacket (which is quite tatty), most of the spines are slightly discoloured (have black markings on them - see photos 1, 21 and 22) and a few books have some spotting on the page edges (see photo 19). Volume 1 of The CHILDREN'S DICTIONARY seems to have had a page removed (see photo 20) but not sure what this could have been as none of the other volumes have a page between the first colour plate and the title page.

Pages are excellent, bearing in mind the books are over 50 years old - please see photos.
