The cessation of flying at Filton Airfield in Dec 2012 marked the end of an exceptional period in History.
Covering from the First World War and even further to 1910 when it started with tram sheds at the top of Filton Hill.
By the start of the Second World War it was the biggest aircraft manufacturing plant in the world.
