Description
Softcover with original illustrations from the weekly Sunday express. In the 1940s, Adam the Gardener was a national treasure. Each week he gave gardening advice and the book is a small encyclopaedia of knowledge with wonderful
illustrations. There is a delightful war time feel -note the earwig trap in a matchbox! It’s in reasonable condition for 76 years old and would make a unique present. There are very few of these around now!!
