Description
Avon dinghies are more expensive than equivalent inflatable boats due to their construction in Hypalon (instead of pvc) which makes them tougher, more durable and resistant to UV degradation. They were made in Britain in the Avon valley. This is a rare model, no longer available new. It has an inflated airfloor and keel giving greater directional stability. This one has been the tender to the yacht Angel of the Downs. It has been well-maintained and is in good condition for her age. Comes complete with UV resistant bag, original Avon seat, proper oars, pump, and repair kit. This is a fantastic opportunity to own an original hypalon Avon dinghy at less than the price of a foreign pvc import! Some cosmetic wear and tear as expected with a boat of this age, but nothing that affects her performance.
