Description:
The car was parked in my garage around 10 - 15 years ago and during that time it was regularly started, left running and cleaned but since Covid, it has been left untouched.

Recently decided to get it back on the road. I replaced the battery and fuel pump, and while the engine starts, the car won’t drive due to a suspected and unknown issue with the automatic gearbox.

The gears appear to engage and shift, but the car doesn’t move when in gear, and it also won’t go into Park. It will roll freely, suggesting a problem somewhere in the transmission system.

Before being parked up, the car was driving beautifully with no known faults. The only reason I stopped using it was that it no longer suited my needs.

Interior in good condition for the age.

Tear in the rear window.
Roof not tested but worked before it was parked up.
Couple of scrapes and dents on the exterior
Needs a new rear seatbelt clip & radio aerial
Inside door handle surround needs to be refitted
Brake pads / discs light on

Local mechanic says that after having a quick look everything else looks ok but obviously until it’s driving can’t guarantee anything.

This is a reluctant sale as I had hoped to start driving it again but as it now needs work I have decided to sadly sell it on. I hope it will go to a good home. Really is a stunning model and any one that has the time to give it some TLC and carry out the repairs will be lucky to own it. Always reliable without any major issues.
