BMW 120d SE Convertible
Low miles 93k with near full service history
MOT til 1st June 26
Economical 174bhp diesel engine (50+ mpg)
Recent oil/filter service, front pads, rear callipers, brake wear sensor. Tyres are good, only advisory on latest MOT is slight lipped front discs (pads are done).
Electric windows, mirrors, roof
Alloy wheels
Cold air-con / duel climate
Full leather/ front heated seats
Good roof (no holes/leaks etc)
2 remote keys (both working), service book and lots of receipts.
Car has a couple of dents/scrapes and will need a good clean inside. Slight crunch going from N to 1st gear. If placed in 2nd then 1st, it doesn’t crunch.
Car started ‘howling’ today and lost power. Has not been driven since, suspect turbo intake pipe leak or turbo impeller on the way out. Car does not smoke, but has no power/boost.
I’m not prepared to spend any more money as my wife needs a bigger car, but didn’t want to sell the convertible! Now it’s time to go…
Great for anyone is mechanically minded, replacement turbo/intake pipe etc. can fe purchased on eBay for £200 (assuming it’s that).. FYI, there are no lights on the dash to say there is a fault.
No test drives for obvious reasons, car can be driven away at your risk if you don’t mind the howling noise.
