Advertised is my cherished classic 1999 BMW R1200C, finished in cream with the bespoke blue leather rider/pillion seats. I have owned this bike for over 10 years, Summer/dry rides only; the bike has covered 40,000 miles (the majority of this was prior to my ownership), but my average mileage over the decade has been just a few hundred miles per annum.
Registered in 1999 (V registration), it is the Bond replica (Tomorrow Never Dies) in the same original Cream; I have recently “treated” myself to a new bike, following a rather significant personal milestone and now hardly ride it. Shaft driven, superb cruiser, the bike is in generally good condition, M.O.T.’d until late November 2025; The wheels, I would suggest, need to be rechromed at some point, similarly some of the chrome detailing (but not much), as this seems to have slightly pitted over the last 2 years, due to lack of use. Th only other “issue” I can think of, is the right indicator has recently stopped working (this has been reflected in the price).. Somoene with a little bike knowledge and is looking for the ultimate project could make this a stand-out bike. It also comes with the BMW hardcase leather lockable panniers, which match the seat colour and click into place and a removable windscreen- perfect for windy days.
It will be an absolute wrench to part with this classic, but due to the new bike, I just don’t get the time to ride it- time for someone else to enjoy. The bike is realistically priced at £3,850, but will consider realistic offers close to the asking price.
