2001 BMW K1200LT, 16k miles only and very clean condition for the year, the MOT has expired, starts first touch and rides very well.

The ABS went faulty and the previous owner has begun the common ABS removal procedure but then realised the speedo and brake lights don't work without the ABS module. The circuit board part of the ABS module has been removed but the brake lights still don't work with the circuit board plugged back in so will require attention. There are lots of guides to ABS removal online as such a common procedure on all BMW motorcycles over around 16 years old as those modules so unreliable and the brakes are far better without the module.

Sold without any warranty on a spares repair basis so can't be ridden away must be collected via van or trailer.

Warranty:
All retail motorcycles come with either our own return to base warranty or an Opteven national coverage warranty unless otherwise stated on the description of that motorcycle.

The national warranty allows the purchaser of the bike to have it repaired at a VAT registered garage of their choice subject to the T&C’s of the warranty and it being a valid claim.

Return to base warranty means the motorcycle must be returned to our premises by the purchaser at their own expense in all circumstances for any inspection or repair.

All third party warranty agreements with our provider Opteven are solely between Opteven and the purchaser of the motorcycle only.

Information regarding what is covered by the various Opteven warranty plans can be supplied on request.

MOTORCYCLES OVER 20 YEARS OLD, CLASSICS AND OFF ROAD/ENDURO
These motorcycles will not be supplied with any warranty unless stated otherwise. The purchaser is able to buy an Opteven “Safe” warranty plan if they choose in most cases.
