Trek Marlin 8 Mountain Bike

For sale is my 2022 Trek Marlin 8 Hardtail Cross Country mountain bike - sized Large (fits 5’ 10” - 6’ 2”)

This is the top of the range version of the Marlin line which comes equipped with a Rockshox Judy air suspension fork, Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brakes, Sram SX 1x12 drivetrain, and Maxxis Ardent Race tubeless-ready tyres (currently set up with tubes, but wheels are also tubeless compatible).

The bike has had very light trail/commute use. If I am honest this is why it is up for sale, I just don’t use it enough (taking these photos/getting the service detailed below is the first time it has been out this year!)

I have upgraded a few components on the bike including a really incredible Ergon SMC Sport Gel saddle, DMR V6 pedals and Deathgrip grips, and an Elite bottle cage.
The bike also has front and rear RRP mudguards installed.

For the sale I have had Dales Cycles in Glasgow go through and service the bike thoroughly, adjusting the brakes and derailleur and making sure everything is as smooth as new. I have added a photo of this invoice to the ad.

On top of this I am also happy to include a Topeak Mountain DA_G pump, Topeak wedge under-saddle dry bag, Cateye AMP500 front light, and a Büchel rear light.

This is a used bike and I have had it for a few years so not everything is perfect. There are definitely some scrapes and scratches if you look for them but honestly from a couple feet away you cannot notice them. I’d be totally happy to buy this bike again.
