Description
Good quality, super long-lasting touring tandem built with Reynolds 531 steel. I’ve used mainly with my kids on the back, but would work for two adults as well.
I’ve fitted new brake and gear cables, and changed from the frame gear levers to bar end levers which are much easier to reach. Have also added an adjustable stem which makes for much greater range of heights who can use the front seat - all the way up to 6’ 3” which is what I am. You can see from the photos that both the seat post and stem can easily be dropped down a long way to facilitate shorter riders too. The rear seat works for kids or adults, the minimum height being around 4’ 11” with the seat post all the way down.
I’ve switched to rim brakes front and back as the old drum brake would need some attention.
