Description
I bought it 20 years ago but have done just under 1200 miles on it so it is in excellent condition with gleaming metallic red paintwork. The miles ridden have been quality miles and included some of the steepest North Wales passes even though my wife is not a strong rider.
I enjoy fast descents and sweeping bends, my wife prefers a more sedate pace so I have decided to sell.
I recently fitted new Schwalbe Marathon tyres and new inner tubes as I was worried the originals may have perished. I have not had a chance to use them so far.
I also have a carrier for the tandem which should fit most roof bars. It's homemade, a bit crude but is made to hold the Dawes Disco Twin securely on the roof of a car.
The purchaser of the tandem can have this free of charge .
