Wheels – over £1,100 RRP!


The wheels alone (SLR 1) cost over £1,100 to buy. These wheels are amazing. 65 back, 42 front.
Read the reviews, they beat more expensive wheels. Light, stiff, they make the bike extremely light and stiff – fantastic climber and flat road cruiser.



What is Synchronized Shift


Automatic Di2 Synchronized Shift has two distinct modes, Full Synchronized Shift and Semi Synchronized Shift and manual mode.
Switching modes is easy though, experiment and see what’s right for you.

Full Synchronized Shift (default: S2)
Automatically shifts the front derailleur when the rear derailleur reaches predefined gears you have set.
You can still shift the front derailleur manually any time. Note that when you shift the front derailleur yourself it will not shift the rear derailleur to compensate.

Semi Synchro Shift (default: S1)
Automatically shift the rear derailleur to compensate for any front derailleur shift. This will reduce or even eliminate big jumps in gear ratios when shifting the front derailleur.
It won’t shift the front derailleur automatically.



Integrated Seat Post (ISP)


Like all SL's - bike an ISP or Integrated Seat Post (seat post is a continuation of the frame).
This really adds to the aesthetic but also for function - increases overall frame stiffness and aerodynamics while remaining comfortable through clever carbon lay-up.
Seatpost has a saddle height of 780mm (Centre of BB to top of saddle).
The seatpost can be cut down for a lower height or raised 3cm with Giant riser spacers (will come with the bike).
Currently setup for height 6’1.



Summary


TCR is a legendary bike, this version is the same as latter models.
Extremely fast and light bike, looks amazing, available at a much lower price that If you are buying new today AND HAS CARBON WHEELS AND HAS di2.
Absolutely no point in buying a new version when you can buy almost new second hand and save yourself £3k +.
Giant bikes always hold their price over the years as well, this should be same price here or there if you wish to change down the road.
