About the Client/Child: Nakita (5) is a warm, affectionate little girl who lives with her parents and younger brother (2), whom she adores. She thrives on reassurance, connection, and gentle encouragement.

Nakita was involved in a serious road traffic accident resulting in a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). She has shown remarkable resilience but now lives with left-sided hemiplegia and needs support with safety, daily routines, and physical development. She has recently started primary school but cannot yet manage full days due to fatigue. Her family seek a kind, patient SEN Nanny to provide consistent nurturing support and help maintain a calm, happy home environment.

The Role at a Glance: You will provide dedicated after-school support, including school pick-ups due to Nakita’s reduced timetable. Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, supporting mobility and therapy programmes (including physiotherapy), and encouraging independence.

A key aspect of the role is planning fun, stimulating activities for Nakita and her brother at home and outdoors, promoting play, learning, and development. The role may also include light household duties to help keep the environment organised and relaxed.

This Job Would Suit: A fun-loving, positive, and proactive SEN Nanny with strong early years experience and a genuine passion for supporting development through play and engagement.

Why You’ll Love This Role: Nakita is determined, engaging, and a joy to work with. This is a meaningful opportunity to make a real difference in her recovery and development while receiving excellent training, supervision, and ongoing support.

Recruitment Process: Snap Care is managing the full recruitment process, including shortlisting, recruiter interviews, and arranging employer interviews.

Please note: Unfortunately, we are unable to provide sponsorship for any of our vacancies. If a specific gender is required, this is a genuine occupational requirement under paragraph 1, schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010.
