Days/Hours: Monday to Friday, 1pm/2pm to 7pm

A lovely family based in Wimbledon, London, are seeking an experienced and reliable part time nanny housekeeper to support their three children, aged 8, 12 and 14, while helping with the general upkeep of their home. This role would suit someone who enjoys working with school-aged children and teenagers and is happy to combine childcare with housekeeping responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will be organised, proactive and confident managing after-school routines, preparing and cooking meals and keeping the household running smoothly. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred. A driver would be ideal to assist with school collections and the children’s activities, and the candidate must be comfortable around pets.

Duties include:

collecting the children from school when required
ensuring the children are settled and comfortable after school
supporting the children’s afternoon and evening routines
preparing snacks and healthy meals for the family
helping with homework and school projects when needed
taking the children to clubs, activities and appointments when required
encouraging independence and positive routines
undertaking general housekeeping duties throughout the home
cleaning and tidying bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and living areas
vacuuming, mopping, dusting and wiping household surfaces
managing laundry, ironing and changing bed linen
keeping the children’s bedrooms and belongings tidy and organised
maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
washing up and tidying after meals
keeping household supplies organised and well stocked
running occasional household errands when required
being comfortable around pets
using initiative to ensure the home remains tidy and well maintained

Requirements:

Paediatric First Aid

Enhanced DBS check

UK work permit

Valid Driver’s License
