This is a pressure mounted gate so you don't need to screw into the wall (though you can if you want) so good for rental properties.
PLEASE NOTE this kit does not have the original wall cups and screws but some 'wall nanny' ones instead. (see pictures) These are the ones I used and I found they work perfectly.
