Description
Likely to date from around the 1950s. It could be used as it was intended for sewing or upcycled as a retro ornament. Alternatively, good for spare parts. It has an electric Sew-Tric Ltd. motor, electric light and a Riccar foot pedal. Accessories include spare needles, additional feet, bobbins and the original Home Sewing Machine Manual (see photo). Ideal for sewing any thick to any thin material like canvas or silk etc.
Condition: It is in vintage cosmetic condition with a few marks etc. The machine itself turns smoothly. The motor is working, but rather old. The case has some marks and surface rusting to the latches, but they still close with ease. Case size - 52 x 32 x 25cm.
