3 x Jennie Rayment books on fabric manipulation - quilts, embroidery, creative sewing.
Selling as I simply don’t have the time anymore.
The lovely Jennie Rayment still teaches, both in person and online with workshops scheduled for 2024. Her website is full of information and inspiration. She does have a shop on her website but these three books are not listed as available in her shop any more.
The Creative Tucks and Textures book is hardback, complete with dust over and is in excellent condition. I had to buy it simply due to the lovely picture on the front cover. Consists of 127 coloured pages of sewing inspiration complete with detailed drawings and pictures.
The Tinkering With Texture book is the first one I owned having watched Jennie regularly on Create and Craft. This book is spiral bound which means the 112 pages always lie flat so you can get on with tinkering and tucking your material to make your project. The book is mostly in black and white (apart from the front and back covers and some very inspirational finished pieces in full colour inside), but the detail you find inside is clear and straightforward. The type face in this book is larger than that found in Creative Tucks and Textures and so easier on the eye.
The Tucked Up In Bed is also a spiral bound book and was my second Jennie Rayment book. Again in black and white (apart from the front and back cover plus some full colour photos of finished pieces) and the type face is the same as Tinkering with Texture. Again there are about 112 pages in this book.
