Stuart was an absolute life saver. We were let down last minute by another structural engineer and our builder could not move on until he had the necessary calculations and drawings. Not only was the communication excellent the final work was delivered very quickly and on point. Our builder was very impressed with the quality of work. As I had a few replies via Bark I indicated to all firms that I would be taking some time to evaluate them and not to contact me further for now. All companies except ArchX have followed my request. If ArchX cannot follow such a simple instruction I cannot trust them with my project. What other instructions will they choose to ignore?

I feel completely let down by ArchX Design. The drawings and “structural calculations” they handed over overlooked basic stability requirements, stopping my rear-extension project in its tracks and bleeding time and money. Worse still, they vanished the moment problems appeared. Polite emails, follow-up calls—zero response. My builder is idle, costs keep climbing, and the stress is all mine. This isn’t merely poor service; it’s reckless. Unless ArchX Design contacts me at once with fully compliant drawings and a plan to put things right, I’ll be taking the matter to Trading Standards, their professional bodies and, if necessary, the small-claims court. Spare yourself the headache—choose a designer who answers the phone and delivers work that stands up to scrutiny.

Martyn and Stuart have scammed me - taken £4,045.50 and do not reply to my messages or phone calls 😡 I assume they are going bust. No contact since July.
