Description
Huge, heavy fat lava ceramic West German pottery floor vase in cobalt blue, with bands of iron oxide. it reminds me of a waterfall.
There is a little chip or snag on the base, I don't know if this is actually a small chip, or where its been stood on a tripod type stand during kiln firing, which is what I suspect.
I purchased this for re-sale 12 years ago, but liked ot so much I kept it.
it is a stunning piece, measuring 22 inches, or 56 cm in height. it really is one of the most impressive pieces I've seen. A stunning addition to anyone's collection. I've certainly never seen another like it.
unfortunately due to size and weight, it's collection only from Cf42 Rhondda area.
