Lovely set of vintage "The Viking" cast iron and brass balance scales, made by F. J. Thornton & Co. Ltd. of Wolverhampton, England, typically dated between the 1940's - 1950's. These scales are perfect for a rustic kitchen. Complete and fully functional.
Comes with a full set of imperial brass weights, ranging from 1oz to 1lb.
Shows some signs of age and use, as expected with vintage items, but that doesn't distract from their charm.
Great decorative piece or for actual use in the kitchen.
