Salter No.30 GPO Metal Postal Scale to weigh parcels and packages up to 2lbs in weight. Made in England with a printed registration number of 783591 below the dial, dating them to about 1933. Some attractive patination, still working perfectly, very smoothly and accurately. Sturdy commercial quality item. Pointer zero adjustment mechanism working nicely, red enamel paint very bright and shiny. Item complete and undamaged and in excellent condition for age. Nice collectable pre-war piece from a bygone era. Priced to sell at only £5 (advertised for £70 to £100 on ebay take a look)!
