Description
Mid to Late Victorian Pine Chest of Drawers – Beautifully Honest Antique Storage
A charming mid to late Victorian pine chest of drawers, dating from around 1860–1880, offering timeless character and practicality. This classic English piece features a traditional layout of two short drawers over three full-width drawers, retaining the majority of their original turned wooden knobs(one knob is non original but is a near match) and resting upon its original shaped plinth base.
The chest has been sympathetically cleaned and waxed, showcasing its naturally aged patina and grain. Its honest, lived-in surface speaks of generations of use and care, making it a wonderful statement of authentic Victorian craftsmanship. The drawers run smoothly and provide ample storage — perfect for a bedroom, hallway, or country kitchen setting.
A versatile antique that combines functionality with rustic charm, this chest is ready to bring warmth and heritage to any interior.
