Description
of special interest to members of the llanwern golf club in Newport, this clock was presented to a captain sydney v cox for serving 2 yrs as captain of the club , the silver/chrome plate on the front has the date February 1939, it has been fully rewired,cleaned and serviced and it works perfectly and keeps good time it even has the original operating instruction taped inside the back door, it chimes the 1/4 1/2 3/4 hour ,then on the hour chimes the full westminster chime followed by the hour number, it has a lever in the back to turn off the chimes if not required, a lovely looking and sounding clock , provide proof you are a member of the llanwern golf club to get a substantial discount on this clock as l restore them and love to see them go to where they should be , ie family or members of the club
