Description
Antique Victorian Decorative Wash Stand Bracket / Cast Iron Frame / For Sink or Basin.
This is an antique salvaged item that has been media blasted and powder coated silver. It’s marker Registered Design No 213637 which dates it to c1893. The writing on the wall brackets has been picked out with black paint to highlight it slightly.
The frame is marked No 244, and 27x19 (presumably inches) which is a little bigger than the frame itself so may refer to the sink size.
The original nuts are missing, but the brackets could be secured to the frame in situ with M8 nuts and a little plumbers PTFE tape.

Internal depth: 44.5cm
Height of frame at front: 4cm
Height of bracket: 26cm
These should not be considered absolutely precise!
There are slots on either side of the wall brackets to fix them to the wall.
This is a salvaged item and although now clean and repainted, it is old and had a life. It’s therefore not perfect, rather it’s old with a bit of character!
