Description
LOT OF ANTIQUE METAL PIECES INCLUDING:
- small brass box,
- Magic Square game,
- old goods scale
The small brass box features an elaborate hinged lid and two compartments. It could be used to house small objects such as rings, earrings, pills, etc. The small size would fit on a dresser, bedside table, bathroom shelving. The perforated pattern on the lid depicts flowers and plants in an Art Nouveau / Liberty style, so it's likely early 20th century.
The Magic Square game is made in England, with the pieces still moving but in overall poor condition due to old age.
An old Salter's goods scale, likely for groceries or meat, made of iron, with a ring to fix it and a hook to hang the goods to be weighed. With sign of age and some rusting. It would be perfect as props in shops, workshops and as decoration.
