A Superb Pair Of 18th-Century Dutch Delft Faience Polychrome Chinoiserie Vases
Brief Description:
This is a very good quality pair of original 18th-century Dutch Delft Chinoiserie decorated Polychrome vases with matching lids and stands.
Each beautiful vase is embellished with fabulous artwork, including a landscape scene with two figures sitting beside a stream, together with birds of paradise and an array of various flowers and foliage.
The matching lids both have oriental style dogs of foo.
The vases sit snugly into the small wooden stands, which we believe to be later additions.
Both are signed to the base by the unidentified Dutch factory.
